摘要 The holder for surgical use has a connection piece (1) and a holder (4) for surgical tools. One or more arms are positioned between the holder and the connection piece and are connected to them by joints (8-10) which are acted on by a pneumatic actuator (16) which fixes or frees the joint. The system works by having a brake mechanism holding the joint fixed under the action of one or more springs. To release the brake mechanism, the pneumatic actuator counters the force of the spring and frees the joint. The joints are ball joints which are pressed against retainers by the springs.
