<p>The invention concerns a method for making secure sheets for bank note paper, consisting of a translucent support sheet and a masking coat applied on said sheet, with coat-free zones, in the form of letters, figures, signs, points and/or patterns and the like, capable of being clearly identified by transmission lighting. In said method, the support sheet is first printed with the letters, figures, signs, points and/or patterns and the like, said printing being produced with ink having high pigment content. The ink is then dried to obtain an embossed porous coat. Said coat, as well as the masking coat applied thereon or introduced therein, are eliminated by washing with a liquid. After it has dried, the support sheet can optionally be cut out into the required dimensions. The invention also concerns a secure sheet obtained by said method.</p> |
