The setting out device for a roof slipstream diverter has a lever mechanism on both narrow sides of the roof part (1, 2, 3). This mechanism includes a first lever (4) moving in a guide rail (8) fixed to the bodywork, a second lever (5) pivoted to the bodywork and a third lever (6) pivoted to the roof part. All three levers are pivoted to each other.
