Emergency cooling system is used for a heat-resistant component (1), especially a turbine blade, having a wall (3) which is impinged on a first wall side (14) with heat and a second wall side (15) with a cooling fluid stream (11). The wall has at least one emergency cooling opening (12) which is closed using a stopper (16). The stopper is a body produced separately from the component and is inserted into the cooling opening and connected to the component. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Stopper for a heat-resistant component, especially a turbine; and (2) Component, especially a turbine blade, impinged with heat.
