The present invention is directed to interaction partners of ALK fusion proteins and to nucleic acids encoding same. It is further directed to nucleic acids, which selectively hybridize to transcriptional products of those nucleic acids as well as to a molecule, which specifically binds to an interaction partner of this invention. The invention is further related to compositions containing the aforementioned ingredients as well as to their use in the diagnosis and therapy of cancer, degenerative and proliferative disorders.
