A coinjection stretch blow molded container comprises a thermoplastic polyester layer and an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer, with the polyester layer being kept in direct contact with both surfaces of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy of the surface of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer as exposed by peeling the two layers of the body of container at the interface gives a pattern.
