A program for implementing a patent description interpretation step of allowing a computer to read and interpret a patent description, a patent value calculation step of quantitatively calculating the value of the patent on the basis of the results of the interpretation at the patent description interpretation step, and a patent value output step of outputting the value of the patent. The program enables the value of the patent and the quality of the patent description to be quantitatively grasped.
