The portable electronic wrist-watch comprises two electrical modules (20, 32), one situated in the casing (20), and one in a strand of the bracelet. An electrical connection (11) is provided linking the second module to the first module. This is retained in the body of the watch by compression when two halves of the shell are fitted together. The portable electronic module is in the style of a wrist-watch, and comprises a first electrical module (32) situated in the casing (20), and a second electrical module (22) situated in a strand of the bracelet. An electrical connection (11) is provided linking the second module to the first module. The casing includes a lower part (24) and an upper part (23). A route (27) is provided for introducing the connection to the box, and a moulded plastic block (36) ensures the establishment of contact between the connection (11) and the contact pads (33) of the first electrical module. Contact is maintained by force exerted when the two parts (23,24) of the casing (20) are fitted together.
