PURPOSE: A tibial resection apparatus is provided to allow a surgeon to resection tibia into an accurate depth to fit patients having different anatomical structures and prosthesis device. CONSTITUTION: A tibial resection apparatus comprises a main body; a mounting unit for attaching a resection guide to a rod(21) tracking along an intramedullary canal of a patient such that a surgeon makes reference to surgical cuts with respect to the intramedullary canal of the patient; a resection unit which is pushed into the vertical inside of proximal tibia of the patient during use; and a first resection guide surface and a second resection guide surface which cooperate with each other so as to form a plane. The tibial resection apparatus contacts the first and second resection guide surfaces during use.
