<p>There is provided an optical disc from which control data can correctly be read out even when a scratch and a black dot are present on the optical disc. The lead in area arranged on the ROM disc has two control information areas. Each control information recorded in each of the control information areas consists of 192 correction code blocks indicating the identical content. A control information area where reproduction control information is recorded is arranged at a distance from the other control information area, the distance being greater than the radius-direction width of the maximum black dot.</p> |
