The invention relates to a pivoting sliding door comprising a frame (1), at least one door leaf (4), a door drive, which is optionally situated in the upper region of said door leaf (4) or above the latter, a deployment device for the door leaf (4), which operates in conjunction with the drive and is located in the lower region of the secondary closing edge (6) and optionally a transversal retaining device (10) that is situated in the lower region of the primary closing edge (9). The invention is characterised in that a longitudinal retaining device (12), which in the final closed position of the door leaf (4) prevents any longitudinal movement in the opening direction (5) between the door leaf (4) and the frame (1), is provided in the vicinity of the lower edge of the door leaf (4), preferably in close proximity to the deployment device. This prevents vibrations and permits the reliable detection of trapped objects that may even be extremely thin by sensors that are optionally provided in the vicinity of the primary closing edge (9). |
