A capsule type hardener which comprises a core comprising an amine hardener (A) and a capsule film surrounding the core, wherein the capsule film has groups (x) absorbing infrared rays with a wavenumber of 1,630 to 1,680 cm<-1> and/or groups (y) absorbing infrared rays with a wavenumber of 1,680 to 1,725 cm<-1> and comprises an epoxy resin cured with the amine hardener (A), and the proportion of the core to the capsule film is from 100/1 to 100/100 by weight.
