DISINFECTION METHOD

A method for disinfecting an article to be disinfected, which comprises providing a liquid disinfectant comprising an aqueous medium and, incorporated therein, 1000 ppm or less of hydrogen peroxide and a metal ion or a metal-EDTA complex, and immersing the article to be disinfected in said liquid disinfectant. The disinfection method is easy to practice and also exhibits excellent infecting effect.
