Process to dispose of horse manure by exposure to magnetron emissions on a conveyer belt within a screened chamber with inlet and outlet and subsequent conversion to solid fuel

In a process to dry farm wastes fresh animal slurry is discharged (4.1) via an inlet and air lock (4.12) to a bunker (3) that feeds a drying chamber (4.2) via a conveyer (4.5). The drying chamber has a magnetron (4.41) and is screened to minimise electro-magnetic emissions. The conveyer belt discharges dries slurry via an outlet (4.3). The belt is made of a material with low friction characteristics e.g. glass-fiber strengthened polytetrafluorothylene. Also claimed is a process for disposing of horse manure dried in a heated container for a period determined by residual moisture, and its subsequent use as solid fuel.
