A snowboard spacer (1) with a middle fastening part (2) and side spacing parts (3.1, 3.2) between the snowboard and a boot toe and heel is new. A snowboard spacer (1) has a middle portion (2), with fasteners (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) for fastening various commercial snowboard bindings to the snowboard, and side parts (3.1, 3.2) arranged as spacers between the snowboard and a snowboard boot to provide a connection between the boot toe and heel and the snowboard. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) a snowboard equipped with the above spacer; and (ii) a screw extension for use with the above spacer for extending the fastening screws of the snowboard binding.
