<p>When a treatment instrument is connected to a necessary device (cautery knife, ultrasonic output device), the type of the treatment instrument, mode, and setting information are transmitted from the device (cautery knife, ultrasonic output device) to a system controller, so that the system controller can perform display and operation for a new treatment instrument. Thus, even when a new cautery knife and a treatment instrument which have been lately developed are combined with the system controller, the system controller can acquire fixed information on each medical device and improve the operationality. Even if a value exceeding the rating of the treatment instrument is erroneously set in the system controller, the aforementioned fixed information acquired prevents the treatment instrument from damage such as dielectric breakdown.</p> |
