Device for enabling persons with paresis or paralysis of lower limbs to walk consisting of two vertical supports (1) with handles (2) for the patient's hands, and rests (7) for patient's knees, the vertical sv Pports being pivotally connected, at their upper ends to a carrying frame, and, at their lower ends, being swingingly connected with skids (4), equipped with foot platforms (5), characterised by the fact, that within each of the vertical support (1), in the vicinity of upper end of each of said vertical support (1) is situated a two step, through bore (8) with a plain, self-aligning bearing (9) fixed there within, where above and beneath said socket (8), in one plane, are situated, two, two step through bores(10) with balls (11) situated there within, and beneath the lower bore, in the same plane, a blind socket (12) is situated, and , further to the carrying frame (3), a plate (13) with two bores(14 and 15) being fixed, one of the bores (14) being situated in the lower part of the plate (13), the other bore (15) in the centre of said plate (13), and with a circular groove (l6), concentric with the central bore (15), where said circular groove (16) constitutes a ball race, the diameter of said groove (16) corresponds to spacing of balls (11) situated within said two step, through bores (10), and within said self aligning plain bearing (9), one end of a bolt (17) being mounted, where the other end of said bolt (17) being fixed in the carrying frame (3). |
