<p>The pedal (2) moves through an angle in the mounting assembly (5, 7-13, 15, 16) between idling- (0degrees) and a flat-out- ( 5degrees - 30degrees) positions. The angle sensor (1) includes an application-specific integrated circuit ASIC (20, 21) with a Hall effect sensor (20H, 21H). These are associated with a memory (60, 61), microprocessor (50, 51) and input circuit (65, 66).
