The crocodile contactor comprises a central part (3) formed from a base (4) and two parts forming a shield at the ends of the central part. The central part is constituted from stainless steel wire shaped elements (9) which are mounted in a removable manner like a brush on a U-shaped sheath (11). A wire core (10) located in the sheath perpendicularly to the brush wires holds the brush in the bottom of the sleeve and prevents its pulling out.
