PURPOSE: A method and a device for scheduling using a system timer are provided to efficiently perform scheduling operation using a low-leveled system timer. CONSTITUTION: The scheduling device comprises a system timer part(101), a client thread part(107), a request data storage device(105), and a scheduling manager part(103). The system timer part(101) sets-up count value according to execution start time of a specific task, and generate count termination data when the set time is counted. The client thread part(107) generates task processing request data including data for executing the task. The request data storage device(105) stores task processing request data according to the task. The scheduling manager part(103) monitors start time of the request data, sets the system timer part(101) as start time count value having the earliest start time, and performs task after the count termination data is generated of the system timer part(101).
