PURPOSE: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to substitute a blower and a motor with an air compressor and nozzles in order to reduce the size of the air conditioner and to increase the heat exchanging efficiency by increasing the wind speed and the wind amount of suction air by the high speed spraying. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner includes a case(56) formed with suction and discharge holes(52,54), a compressor(58) mounted in the case for compressing refrigerant passing through an indoor unit, a heat exchanger(57) mounted around the discharge holes of the case for exchanging heat of the refrigerant of high temperature and high pressure with atmospheric air, an air compressor(60) mounted around the suction holes of the case for inhaling and compressing the atmospheric air to blow toward the heat exchanger, and spray nozzles(64) connected to the air compressor for spraying the compressed air toward the heat exchanger.
