PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidized bed furnace capable of precisely detecting the flowing failure of a fluid medium or the internal residence of a matter to be treated without causing a trouble such as promotion of the internal residence of the matter to be treated, and improving (solving) this to restore the furnace to a satisfactory state. SOLUTION: This fluidized bed furnace is constituted so as to fluidize the fluid medium by a flowing gas to heat the matter to be treated. This fluidized bed furnace has flowing gas supply means having a plurality of flowing gas equalizing chambers (e.g., wind boxes 105a-105d) having a supply port for supplying the flowing gas; pressure detection means (e.g., 106a-106d) for detecting the respective pressures of the flowing gas equalizing chambers; and flowing gas supplying quantity control means (e.g., 107a-107d) for controlling the supplying quantity of the flowing gas according to the pressures detected by the pressure detecting means.
