PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unlocking tool which enables even a split disc-tumbler type cylinder lock to be released with ease. SOLUTION: This unlocking tool is equipped with a plurality of tool bodies. The tool bodies comprises: at least one tool body of the first kind, which has a grip part for gripping the unlocking tool, and a long slender arm part elongated from one end of the grip part and inclined at an angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the unlocking tool from a midway place; and at least one tool body of the second kind, which has a grip part for gripping the unlocking tool, and a long slender arm part elongated from one end of the grip part and inclined at an angle in the direction opposite to the tool body of the first kind, with respect to the longitudinal axis of the unlocking tool, from a midway place. A plurality of protrusions are provided on the outside or inside or outside and inside of the tip parts of the respective arm parts of the tool bodies of the first and second kinds, respectively. The tool bodies of the first and second kinds are alternately superposed on one another and fixed by means of a pin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
