ELECTRIFYING MEMBER, ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC APPARATUS USING THE SAME, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND PROCESS CARTRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifying member small in resistance unevenness, ensuring uniform electrifying performance and little in resistance variation after a long-term use, having excellent environmental dependence of resistance value and wear resistance, and less liable to stick to a photoreceptor after a long-term pressure contact, and to provide an electrophotographic apparatus using the same, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: The electrifying member is disposed in an electrophotographic apparatus and electrifies the surface of a body to be electrified in a state with a voltage applied. A conductive elastic body constituting the member to be electrified comprises at least two kinds of polymers and the number of tanδpeaks of the conductive elastic body is smaller than the total number of tanδpeaks of the respective polymers. The number of tanδpeaks of the conductive elastic body is at least two. A polymer having a lower peak temperature of tanδin the conductive elastic body forms an island structure with respect to a polymer having the higher peak temperature of tanδin the conductive elastic body.
