<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition comprising a polyester resin which is produced by using a compound containing antimony atoms as a catalyst, and a specific polyamide resin containing a phosphorus compound, having excellent gas barrier properties and a reduced increase of darkening. <P>SOLUTION: In the resin composition obtained by melting and mixing (A) the polyamide resin produced by polycondensation of metaxylylenediamine and adipic acid as principal component, and containing the phosphorus compound, (B) the polyester resin containing the antimony compound and (C) at least a compound selected from the group consisting of inorganic acid salts and hydroxides of group-1 or -2 metals of the periodic table and transition metals, the prescribed resins, phosphorus and antimony concentrations satisfy a specific relation, and the composition shows a lightness more than a specific value when made into pellets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
