PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized low-vibration commutator motor which suppresses the influence on radio by stabilizing the sliding between a brush and a commutator so as when the output of radio communication equipment is reduced due to running of noise generated by a motor into an antenna which causes as a result of progress in downsizing, speedup, and output increase of a motor. SOLUTION: For this small-sized commutator motor, the diameter of the commutator is adjusted so that the peripheral velocity of the sliding between the brush and the commutator may be 120m/min or under. For example, the diameter of the commutator is 1.7ϕwhen the commutator rotates at a rate of 30,000min<SP>-1</SP>, the circumferential velocity of the outside diameter of the commutator becomes 160.2m/min. So, the commutator is constituted in diameter of 1.1ϕso as to adjust the circumferential velocity of the commutator to 103.8m/min.
