PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger guard for an axial flow fan motor which can reduce noise without relying on a trial-and-error method. SOLUTION: The finger guard comprises a plurality of annular members 13 disposed at a predetermined interval concentrically around the axis of rotation of a rotor unit 9 of an axial flow fan motor 1, and a plurality of radial members 15 which are disposed at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction of the annular members 13 and straight in the plane to couple the annular members 13 with each other. The radial members 15 are provided so that an angleαis in a range of 20°≤α≤50°, whereαis an angle formed by first and second lines 17 and 19 when the first line 17 starts intersection to the second line 19 as blades 11 are rotated, the first line is a line obtained by projecting the center line in the width direction of the blades 11 provided on the rotor unit 9 on the reference plane orthogonal to the axis of rotation of the rotor unit 9, and linearly approximated, and the second line 19 is a line by projecting the center line of the radial members on the reference plane.
