PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound-proof wall capable of improving water-tightness and preventing the transmission of a sound by leaking the sound from a gap between both up and down sound absorbing plates and coming into contact with both metal surfaces each other. SOLUTION: In the sound-proof wall consisting of the panel-like sound absorbing plates 2 and 2 filling a sound absorbing material into a box frame by overlapping a plurality of stages up and down, an elastic air-tight member 8 lies between up and down contact surfaces of the sound absorbing plates of at least up and down stages.
