PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mower efficiently carrying out cutting at a prescribed height along topographical undulations in the mower relatively sliding two upper and lower cutting blade plates and cutting lawn or grass. SOLUTION: Cutting blade units 2 are composed of the two upper and lower cutting blade plates 3 and 4 carrying out cutting by sliding. A plurality of cutting blade units 2 and 2 are directed from a main frame 1 outward and mounted thereon in a state freely vertically moving relatively to the main frame 1. The individual cutting blade units 2 are provided with wheels 7 and vertically moved along the topographical features where the wheels 7 pass over. Thereby, cutting operation is performed along topographical unevennesses where the individual cutting blade units 2 pass over. When the cutting blade units 2 are provided on the circumference of the main frame, the cutting operation can be performed even when the main frame is moved in any direction of 360°.
