PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flexibility of sequence for performing correction, in response to the amount of characteristics of an image or other correction without increasing the loss in the processing of a device for image processing and image recording, and without increasing the memory size. SOLUTION: An effect processing unit 100 is designed to acquire the amount of the characteristics of whole images, before performing first and second corrections, when image data is performed the first correction in response to the amount of characteristics of the whole images, and performed second correction which is different from the first correction.
