摘要 PURPOSE: A symbol mapping and channelizing method of an asynchronous CDMA communication system is provided to reduce the complexity of a system during execution time or in implementing a device by processing symbol mapping and channelizing process through binary calculation. CONSTITUTION: A weight value code binarizing unit(20) outputs binary numbers of 0 and 1 corresponding to a code of a weight value and binary number of 0 and 1 corresponding to an imaginary number of a weight value. A binary symbol unit(10) exclusively ORs two successive bit streams, divides it into a real number part and an imaginary number part through logical negation, switches the real number part and the imaginary number part according to a binary number corresponding to the imaginary number outputted from the weight value code binarizing unit(20), and outputting them. An OVSF(Orthogonal Variable Spreading Factor) code generator(40) maps the OVSF code generated according to an SP(Spreading Factor). A binary channelizing unit(30) ANDs the binary number divided into the real number part and the imaginary number part received from the binary symbol unit(10) and a binary number obtained by exclusively ORing the binary number received from the weight value code binarizing unit(20) and the binary number received from the OVSF code generator(40), and outputs it. A mapping unit(50) maps the binary number of 0 and 1 divided into the real number part and the imaginary number part received from the binary channelizing unit(30) to a binary number of 1 and -1 and outputs them.
