<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience in setting a print area, regarding an operating system which is specified so that a screen for setting the print area cannot be displayed after printer registration. <P>SOLUTION: A printer control program provided is characterized in that it causes a computer to execute a process for displaying a screen for additionally registering a printer to be controlled by the printer control program, with the screen having an area for receiving settings about the print area, and a process for informing the operating system of printer information such that information based on the settings about the print area is used as information about the print area, with an identifier of the printer obtained when information for identifying the settings about the print area is added to the identifier of the printer based on the settings about the print area which are accepted on the screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
