<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant conductive material which is stable under a high temperature atmospheric air, exhibits high sintering properties to attain sufficiently uniform density even in a large sized shape and has high heat resistance and high durability. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The ceramic is composed of a sintered compact having a perovskite-type crystal structure expressed by a chemical formula, La<SB>1-x</SB>Sr<SB>x</SB>Cr<SB>1-y</SB>Al<SB>y</SB>O<SB>3</SB>(in the formula, 0.005≤x≤0.12 and 0.02≤y≤0.50). (2) The content of SiO<SB>2</SB>in the sintered compact is controlled to 400 to 1,000 ppm, (3) the bulk density of the sintered compact is controlled to ≥6.0 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, (4) the conductivity of the sintered compact at 1,000°C under atmospheric air is controlled to 0.5 to 30 S/cm, and (5) the average particle diameter of the sintered compact is controlled to 10 to 40 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
