<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a current control characteristic of an electric motor in return control of an electric power steering controller. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power steering controller 14 comprises a target current determining means 16, a PWM driving control means 17, an electric motor driving means 18, a current detecting means 19 of the electric motor, a rotating speed detecting means 36 of the electric motor, and a feedback control means 20. The PWM driving control means 17 has a PWM 1 output calculating means 31, a PWM 2 output calculating means 32, a dead zone correction value calculating means 33, a PWM 2 output correcting means 34, and a PWM signal generating means 35. The PWM 2 output calculating means 32 calculates a PWM 2 output value based on current IM and rotating speed MV of the electric motor, the dead zone correction value calculating means 33 calculates a correction value based on the PWM 2 output value, and the PWM 2 output correcting means 34 outputs a summed value of the PWM 2 output value and correction value to the PWM signal generating means 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
