<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive planographic printing plate which does not give rise to scumming and has high stability with lapse of time even when a photosensitive planographic printing plate provided with a photopolymerizable photosensitive layer on a support is preserved under and at high temperatures and high humidity for a long period of time after manufacturing and is then subjected to image exposure and developing then to printing and to provide the photosensitive planographic printing plate which is less damaged in exposed sections during development, holds secure adhesion between the surface of the support and the photopolymerizable photosensitive layer and exhibits high plate wear resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive planographic printing plate is formed by laminating an intermediate layer and the photopolymerizable photosensitive layer on the aluminum support is characterized in that the intermediate layer contains a copolymer containing an ingredient having at least an acid radical and an ingredient increasing in dissolution rate in an alkaline developing solution by reacting with the alkaline developing solution and further, that the intermediate layer contains a copolymer for increasing its I/O value to ≥5% before and after the alkaline development reaction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
