<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mounting part kind classifying equipment and a method thereof which are capable of easily classifying mounting part kinds when part number names are given. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting part classifying equipment which is an equipment for automatically converting part information for every kind on the basis of part numbers is composed of a part number information DB section holding attribute information corresponding to the part numbers of parts, a mounting part kind conversion table which defines a mounting part kind on the basis of a combination of the attribute information of parts, and a conversion algorithm section which converts mounting part kind by referring to the mounting part kind conversion table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
