<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid for a beverage container having a nick with a nearly cross shape capable of holding a straw in the perpendicular direction not in a slant direction, and a method for injection molding the lid. <P>SOLUTION: A mold for injection molding consisting of a male mold with a columnar projection and a female mold with a concavity corresponding to the projection of the male mold, and wherein a cavity is formed between the both molds by clamping the both molds, is used. The male mold provides projected lines to form a nearly cross shaped nick on the columnar projection, and the female mold provides concave grooves corresponding to the projection lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
