<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect a protrusion in an edge part of a seal, to surely grasp fine uneven defects impossible to be grasped by visual observation, to eliminate dispersion in inspection, and to allow the accurate and reliable inspection, in the extrusion inspection to an inside of a fused thermoplastic material of the striped seal. <P>SOLUTION: In this quality inspection method, a container formed of a web-like packing layered material is returned to a shape of a pillow-like preliminary molding, a container wall is cut to take out filled food, a specimen 71 is prepared thereby, the edge part 23a in an inside of the container in a striped seal band is irradiated with a side light 72 and an upper light 74, unevenness on an outer face is measured ranging over the full length of the edge part 23a, and the quality of the striped seal band is determined by an analytical means, based on a signal from a CCD camera 73. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
