PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of realizing efficient program search. SOLUTION: A digital broadcast receiver 1 has a program search function for receiving digital broadcast including program guidance information while changing the receiving frequency of a tuner 4. About the program guidance information, conditions to be inputted from a remote controller 12, etc. are sorted out as retrieval conditions, the genres and kinds of service are narrowed down and temporarily presented by a speaker 9 and a display 11.
