PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten material transfer device to improve the transfer of a molten material in a stack injection molding apparatus or a tandem injection molding apparatus by reducing a fall in drops and stringiness of the molten material. SOLUTION: The stack injection molding apparatus or the tandem injection molding apparatus includes a first molten material transfer nozzle 36 connected to a stationary platen 14 and a second molten material transfer nozzle 38 connected to a transferable platen 16. The molten material transfer device 40 includes a first valve pin extending through the first molten material transfer channel 37 of the first molten material transfer nozzle 36, and a second valve pin extending through the second molten material transfer channel 39 of the second molten material transfer nozzle 38. The first valve pin is moveable against the first and second molten material transfer nozzles 36 and 38 because a groove is selectively arranged so as to simultaneously stride across a part of the first molten material transfer channel 37 and a part of the second molten material transfer channel 39 so that the molten material can be flowed between the first and second transfer channels 37 and 39 at a mold closed position.
