PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to load and unload a disk in a head/disk test device where a pneumatic bearing plate is provided in the vicinity of the disk. SOLUTION: After a pneumatic bearing device 170 is rotated and fully lowered, a disk 160 is loaded on a rotary shaft 142. The pneumatic bearing device 170 is then rotated and elevated until a ring 173 collides with a fixed block 174. The position of the pneumatic bearing device 170 is fixed by the force of a screw when the ring 173 collides with the fixed block 174. When the disk 160 is unloaded, the pneumatic bearing device 170 is rotated and lowered, and the disk 160 is unloaded from the rotary shaft 142 if the gap between the disk 160 and a smooth plate 171 is made sufficiently large.
