PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of granulating into a granulated body composed of an artificial calcium silicate-based powdery material prevented from the occurrence of dust at the time of initial charge or turning in composting, having excellent water absorption performance, excellent restoring properties (collapsibility) to powder and exhibiting excellent parformance as a composting sub-material or fertilizer. SOLUTION: A phosphoric acid aqueous solution is added into the artificial calcium silicate-based powdery material as a binder and the mixture is granulated to have 2-10 mm particle diameter,≤40% water content and≤5 kg strength against collapse.
