PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide partition walls for a septic tank, which can be laid horizontally and stacked up by putting one on the top of the other without a trouble when making them overlap each other for storage. SOLUTION: A partition wall B has one surface S1 on which fitting ribs 5 for fitting a member are formed projectingly, and the other surface S2 opposite to the surface S1, on which stabilizing ribs 8 are formed projectingly. A plurality of the partition walls B are stacked up as the surfaces S1, S2 are set horizontal. At this time, a proper degree of the projection of the ribs 5, 8 are determined so that each stabilizing rib 8 comes in contact with each fitting rib 5 on the counter partition wall B to keep the wall surfaces S1, S2 counter to each other in a parallel position.
