PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squeegee for screen printing excellent in resolution and dimensional accuracy of a printed matter, and executing printing uniform in ink thickness without blur. SOLUTION: The squeegee for screen printing is provided with a notch part at a position contacting with the screen plate of the squeegee in the longitudinal direction of the squeegee. The notch part can be formed at both corner parts contacting with the screen plate of the squeegee, symmetrically or asymmetrically in the longitudinal direction. The notch part can be formed partially or entirely into a fan-shaped, circular, arc-shaped, trapezoid, rectangular, elliptic or paraboloidal shape. A projecting part is also formed. Furthermore, either a roller jig or a sliding jig is fitted near both sides of the squeegee, to allow the jig to match the squeegee at the bottom ends. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
