Reovirus for the treatment of cellular proliferative disorders

A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of ras-mediated proliferative disorder in a mammal is disclosed wherein it comprises a modified reovirus and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, wherein the reovirus is a recombinant or immunoprotected reovirus. This pharmaceutical composition is useful for treating either solid neoplasms or hematopoietic neoplasms.
