<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable comparison in the visual perception at a close range by realizing the highly effective comparison in the visual perception without making an apparatus further complicate and higher in cost. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus has a switching means which switches a position of presenting a fixation target 34 between a position corresponding to the corrected state of the equivalent spherical diopter of an objective measured value or the spherical diopter of a major main meridian and a position corresponding to the non-corrected state thereof by moving a lens 32 in a fixation target presentation optical system 30 and makes the eyes to be examined experience the comparison in the visual perception.
