<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording material which shows good smoothness on the outermost layers of both sides, the inhibited generation of static electricity, high accumulation capability/running performance inside a recording device and a high-density beautiful image. <P>SOLUTION: This thermosensitive recording material has a thermosensitive coloring layer containing an electron-donative dye precursor and an electron-receptive compound which thermally develops a color in the electron-donative dye precursor, formed on one side of a support, and at least one layer formed on the other side.
