HIGH DURABILITY POLYMER ELECTROLYTE, ITS COMPOSITION, AND FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high durability solid polymer electrolyte with high oxidation resistance suitable for an electrolyte membrane used for a fuel cell or the like and to provide its composition.

SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises the high durability solid polymer electrolyte formed by introducing a functional group containing phosphorous into a fluorine-based polymer electrolyte, or the fluorine-based polymer electrolyte, and an antioxidant. Even when hydrogen peroxide radicals are generated under a high heating condition, the generation of the radicals is suppressed, and durability of the fluorine-based polymer electrolyte is enhanced. The fuel cell uses this electrolyte.
