<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance degree of continuous paper delivery without removing paper sheets on a paper delivery part. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, when the number of paper sheets C stacked on the paper delivery part reaches over the maximum number of stackable paper sheets R set as a tolerance (N of S36, N of S48), a warning of the excessive loading is given to users (S37). In this case, when it is recognized that the paper sheets exist on the paper delivery part at the time of receiving a printing job, provided that a paper feeding tray that accommodates paper sheets corresponding to the size and direction of the paper sheets on the paper delivery part is selected, the paper feeding tray that accommodates the paper sheets designated by the printing job is selected (S38 to 45). As a result, it is allowed to select the paper sheets corresponding to the size and direction of previously printed paper sheets, and thereby to enhance the degree of continuous paper delivery without removing the paper sheets on the paper delivery part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
