<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide white-lathe work printed matter on which a white lathe work (precise geometrical pattern) is provided by intaglio printing and which further enhances anticounterfeit effects already provided in itself. <P>SOLUTION: In this printed matter on which the white lathe work is provided by the intaglio printing, a part 4 except the white lathe work is composed of a latent image part 3 and a background part 2; and the intermediate density of the image part 3 and that of the background part 2 each are represented by parallel line tint or halftone dots and made almost equal to each other. The area ratio of printing area 5 of the image part 3 is in the range of 50-96%, and the area ratio of printing area 7 of the background part 2 falls within the range of±20% of the area ratio of the image lines 5 of the image part 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
